Best kabobs in town, amazing service and staff!
Variety of options and fresh ingredients, only downside is that they do charge for extra sauce.
Go to order is the spicy chicken koobideh with side of chickpeas. They got yummy flavored rice along with white rice served with each order.
Great healthy and gluten free takeout option - Eric M.Aldie, VA0131/18/2023
Horrible. Maybe because we didn't eat at the restaurant and had delivery via Uber Eats, but the quality of our food was very, very poor. That the management would allow it to leave the kitchen and their establishment to be consumed by anyone is speaking to their lack of care. The naan was obviously reheated in an oven making most of it crispy and inedible. The lamb was not freshly cooked and obviously reheated as well, mealy and massively overcooked. The chicken was hard and extremely dry and it went into the trash as it was completely inedible. Overall a complete waste of money and a huge disappointment considering the other reviews.

Absolutely perfecta, five stars all the way. Great gyros too. The food is excellent, tasty. I love the gyro wraps.

Never had a bad experience with the food here, always good and they are extremely kind and friendly. Highly recommend the Combo for 4

We've lived near the place for many years but never thought to stop in until today and I wish we had gone in sooner. I had the chicken kabob and my wife had the beef and chicken combo. They were both terrific. The meat was tender and juicy with the right amount of seasoning. The rice and naan were very good as well.
We'll be back for sure. - Rosalinda B.VA, VA031/12/2023
Best Kabob and really good choices on their menu. I especially loved their Combo with Lamb, Chicken and Beef Kabobs. For the sides, the chickpeas are tasty and full of flavor.

To ownership,
I ordered a lamb combo with chicken. I got sick with horrible stomach pain and heart burn for 3 days and my entire body itches. Had to go to the ER and they prescribed antibiotics. I don't know what you guys marinate the lamb with but you need to change it. Plus, only 3 pieces-seriously? Terrible experience - 953065689/6/2021
I've never tried Afghan food, besides kabobs, so I was really excited to try some more Afghan dishes. Ashburn kabob did not disappoint! The kabob combo for 2 had an assortment of flavorful kebabs. The spices were great and the meat was juicy and had a nice charred taste! I also ordered the quabili palaw and this was one of my favorites! It came with a huge lamb shank and the rice was the perfect of savory and sweet, with the spices, raisins, carrots, and onions. I'd definitely recommend this, if you like lamb!
I also ordered mantu, which is an Afghan dumpling dish, because I thought it was cool that the Korean word for dumpling, "mandu", is very similar. I enjoyed the leek filling and red meat sauce on top of the dumplings. Definitely get this dish! For appetizers, we got the banjan borani and the bolani. I loved the eggplant because it had a delicious tomato sauce on top. I put it on my pita and it was the perfect combo. The bolani was tasty, but I wouldn't order it again because the rest of the dishes came with pita and plenty of rice.
I've never had afghan food before, so I can't vouch for the authenticity of the food here. But I really enjoyed it and am excited to eat here again! - Sankeerth A.Boston, MA58161210/7/2022
Chicken smells stale beware and if you want to try just get one dish first and then order more

I ordered the combo 2 with chicken and beef kabobs. The beef was very tender and well marinated. The chicken had less flavor but was cooked perfectly. They give you plenty of rice and food plus the Naan bread on the side. I was able to get three meals out of it. The price was worth the amount of food I received. The sauces that come with it were very good as well. I recommend this restaurant.
